Fran started programming at 8 years old and was writing shell scripts and connecting to university networks before most people had heard of the internet. Over the following decades he built infrastructure for telecommunications operators, ISPs, and critical European networks, including security architecture for institutions where downtime is not a negotiable outcome.
He has held CTO, CISO, and lead architect roles across fintech, media, telecoms, and defence-adjacent projects in Spain, France, Belgium, and the UK. He has also collaborated with law enforcement and security agencies in multiple European countries on forensic and infrastructure work, most of it still under confidentiality agreements.
The through line across all of it: understand the system before touching it. He doesn't sell technology for its own sake. He fixes what's broken and extends what works.
With over 15 years building desktop and web applications, he has developed the kind of language-level understanding that lets him move across technology stacks without losing precision. His background combines formal training with self-directed learning, which also makes him effective at leading development teams and transferring knowledge to other engineers, not just writing code himself.
He works across both functional and object-oriented paradigms, applying whichever fits the problem rather than defaulting to habit. His primary stack is Java, complemented by PHP and JavaScript/TypeScript where the project requires it. He works with .NET, Spring, SpringBoot, Laravel, Node.js, Vue.js, and Angular, among others, and has solid experience with relational and non-relational databases including MySQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
His scope extends beyond development: he integrates DevOps practices for deployment automation and continuous delivery, and applies cybersecurity principles at the application level, data protection and system integrity built in, not bolted on.
Deimer builds and maintains the infrastructure that keeps web applications running. His core stack is PHP and Laravel on the backend, combined with Next.js, React, and TypeScript on the frontend. On the infrastructure side, he administers Linux servers, manages containerised deployments with Docker, and handles VPS environments in production. His work at Synaptizen has covered Linux server administration, Odoo ERP customisation, Docker-based deployments, and automated workflow design for system maintenance.
He has also built production projects independently: a full e-commerce and medical services platform for a multi-branch business operating across the US and Mexico, and a corporate web platform for an industrial company with automated quoting and SEO architecture built in. Both are live.
Beyond the code, he runs a developer community on Discord where members work through real software builds weekly, simulating production team dynamics. It started as a learning exercise. It turned into something closer to team leadership.
